The book analyses a selection of 10 houses and 14 buildings constructed in Costa Rica from 2000 to 2005 and that represent the current urban San Jose's growth trends. The domestic architecture reflects a higher purchasing power with an appreciation oh natural surroundings, the office and industrial buildings are aimed some at rescuing the historic downtown area while others were constructed in the suburban area of the city. Includes biographies of mentioned architects.
