Resumen del Libro

Libro Oniromancia

The author of the book analyzes five short stories of one of the most significant writers of modern Latin American literature with a mythocritical and symbological approach. From among the endeavors to define and systematize the ancient literary figures for the interpretation of existence (myth, symbol), the author opts for Gilbert Durand's comprehensive system originating in cultural anthropology as a theoretical foundation and starting point for her analytical strategy. The original and dynamic analyses of the short stories, which, at the same time, respect the aspects indicated by the texts themselves, result in coherent and thought-inspiring interpretations in each case. Volar-Voar

Libro Volar-Voar

In his literary work, as well as in his life, all the definitions of exile given by sociology are present; that of inner exile, to which Arenas added a new characteristic, and that of territorial exile as well. His work represents the vision of the marginated, imprisoned, persecuted, rejected. The purpose of his novels and poetry is to reveal, from a historical reconstruction, the explanation...
