La mujer ladrillo narra la historia de Milagro, una mujer que nació sin piernas y sin brazos, además de un retraso mental severo. La trama, en armonía con el personaje, posee una estructura circular, el lector inicia y termina su recorrido con el recuerdo de la protagonista asesinada por el asfalto bajo el follaje; es, sobre todo, en las páginas intermedias donde el lector descubrirá poderosas estampas que descubren los momentos más esenciales de la narración.
