The former director of the Bauhaus, he worked for the Post-Revolutionary Regimes in Mexico as the director of the Instituto del Urbanismo y Planification from 1942 through 1949, while also becoming the editor of the collective graphic workshop Taller de Grafica Popular (TGP) from 1947 to 1949.
