The author describes and discusses the influence Le Corbusier in Uruguay through a series of trips, the first done by the Swiss-French architect in 1929, and the remaining ones from the three Uruguayan architects who joined the workshop of the notable architect: Carlos Gómez Gavazzo, in 1933, Justino Serralta, in 1948, and Carlos Clémot, in 1949. Esta recopilación de obras se origina en el deseo de aprovechar los medios digitales para registrarlas en un archivo sintético, se la ha separado en dos sectores. Uno, dedicado a viviendas individuales o colectivas, y otro a proyectos especiales de edificios comerciales, industriales, para educación o salud. En éste se incorporan algunos dibujos que fueron la propuesta inicial que condujo en definitiva a la obra realizada.

Una Cátedra de Proyectos puede organizarse de múltiples maneras. Es conocida la condición impuesta por Rem Koolhaas para impartir un taller en Harvard: no tener ninguna relación con el proyecto. Interesado solamente en la investigación, era lo único que quería compartir con los alumnos. El experimento se reveló controvertido y finalmente desapareció. No es así como hemos planteado nuestra docencia.
