Los relatos de viajeros procedentes del ámbito lingüístico alemán que visitaron España han sido poco estudiados pese a su importancia como testimonio histórico-cultural. La presente monografía pretende mostrar la evolución imagológica de Valencia transmitida por estos viajeros, poniendo de manifiesto la relevancia internacional de la ciudad y su entorno mediante la traducción de una selección de fragmentos de textos inéditos escritos entre los siglos XVIII y XX.

Presentaré en primer lugar un breve panorama histórico, para hacer inteligibles ciertos rasgos de la biografía y la producción literaria del autor. This book provides an overview of the main routes and trends that the Mexican theater journeyed in the twentieth century. It specially seeks to link the texts, the ideas about the scene, the way of acting, the sense of direction and the public of that time. Therefore, its about approaching through different points of view to an integrated perspective of the theatrical phenomenon in Mexico over a century staging, text and society.
