The Three Kings were enjoying the ongoing holiday revelry in Puerto Rico, feasting and leaving presents. Melchior overeats and falls asleep, taking the star of Bethlehem with him. His disappearance and recovery started the January tradition of Melchior's Feast, still celebrated in some parts of the Puerto Rican countryside.
