Nos encontramos “ante un lenguaje compartido, o ante los restos de un género común dispersado, estallando en un inmenso continente cultural cuya coherencia suele pasar muchas veces desapercibida”. Por citar algunos ejemplos: punto guajiro cubano, galerón del Oriente Venezolano, guajira andaluza, zapateado jarocho, punto canario o la mejorana panameña.
