Resumen del Libro

Based on the idea that all forms of knowledge are interconnected and that the human mind weaves them together naturally, this book encourages the incorporation of art education into all other forms of education instead of keeping them separate and compartmentalized. It urges parents and teachers to make art education an integral part of children's daily lives, arguing that by combining various disciplines, such as health and photography or geometry and painting, children will develop into smarter and more creative individuals. By turning art into a part of both playtime and their education, children will eventually come to discover and create it as part of everything they do in their everyday lives. Basándose en la idea de que todos los diferentes tipos de conocimiento están interconectados y que la mente humana los entrelaza naturalmente, este libro promueve la incorporación de la educación del arte en todas las otras formas de educación en vez de mantenerlas separadas y compartimentadas. Anima a los padres y a los maestros a convertir la educación del arte en una parte integral de la vida diaria de los niños, arguyendo que al combinar varias disciplinas, tales como la salud y la fotografía o la geometría y la pintura, los niños se desarrollarán como individuos más inteligentes y creativos. Al convertir al arte en una parte tanto del juego como de la educación, eventualmente los niños llegarán a descubrirla y a crearla como parte de sus vidas cotidianas.
