Essays on Mexican literature of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The authors chosen for this study stand out because of their heterodox writing, either in their use of genre (fantastic especially), or their religious and philosophical ideology: secularizing, but close to the new occult forms of time, especially theosophy and spiritualism.
