Mario Botta (1943 geboren) studierte in Venedig Architektur bei Carlo Scarpa und erffnete 1970 sein eigenes Bro in Lugano. Heute reicht seine Ttigkeit bis in die Vereinigten Staaten und den Fernen Osten. Weltberhmt geworden ist Mario Botta durch seine zahlreichen Villen im Tessin: khl-elegante Bauten, die, oft an exponierter Lage situiert, einen spannungsvollen Dialog mit der Landschaft aufnehmen. Known until recently for such public facilities as the Zamora Municipal Museum, the Castellón Fine Arts Museum and the León Auditorium, over the last few years Mansilla + Tuñón have developed a number of projects in which urban scale and the problems of inhabiting in the contemporary city assume more and more importance. An analysis of the Herrmann Building designed and constructed in Bogotá by architect Guillermo Bermúdez. The book, in a general interpretation of his work, takes specific elements of the building to reconstruct the architecture of Bermúdez and to establish the differences between his legacy and contemporary architecture. La publicación recoge diversos Materiales producidos por el Área de Urbanística y Ordenación del Territorio de la Escuela de Ingeniería y Arquitectura de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Se trata del vol.2 de la serie, con guiones correspondientes a los bloques teóricos y una selección de ejercicios realizados por los estudiantes principalmente en dos asignaturas de la materia (Urbanismo 3 y Urbanismo 4), así como de otra asignatura compartida con el área de Proyectos Arquitectónicos (Taller integrado de Proyectos y Urbanismo), durante los cursos académicos 2011-13.
