Resumen del Libro

Es verdad que no hay que saber de teologia sacramental o liturgica para salvarse o ser buen cristiano. Sin embargo, una solida formacion liturgica y sacramental nos ayuda tanto espiritual como humanamente. Pues se ama mas y mejor a quien se conoce que a quien se desconoce. Ese amor informado nos prepara para cumplir con la mision principal de la Iglesia: evangelizar, comunicar ese gran regalo de la fe recibida de Dios en Cristo Jesus. El entendimiento de los sacramentos puede aportarte mucho: desde un entendimiento mas profundo de como Jesucristo se te acerca a traves de los sacramentos, hasta el descubrimiento de nuevos enfoques capaces de iluminar nuestras mentes y de fortalecer nuestros corazones ante los desafios cotidianos. Although there is no need to know sacramental or liturgical theology in order to be a good Christian, a solid understanding of the sacraments helps us both spiritually and humanly. For the sacraments are loved more and deeper by whom they are known than not known. This informed love prepares us to fulfill the main mission of the Church: to evangelize--to communicate that great gift of faith received from God in Jesus Christ. Understanding the sacraments can bring us a lot: from a deeper understanding of how Jesus Christ comes to us through the sacraments, to the discovery that the sacraments can illuminate our hearts and strengthen them in the face of everyday challenges.
