En este tomo 10 (abril-junio de 1938) de la edición del archivo del cardenal Isidro Gomá y Tomás se publican documentos relativos al logro de una de las aspiraciones de Gomá, el reconocimiento pleno de las relaciones con la Santa Sede con el nombramiento del nuncio Cicognani; se presenta documentación sobre el viaje a Roma y Budapest para asistir al Congreso Eucarístico de Hungría, y se continúa la relación de trabajos de reconstrucción diocesana y castrense, que manifiestan una desconfianza cada vez mayor hacia las actuaciones de la Falange.

1936 constituye una mirada historiográfica ponderada sobre la Guerra Civil que asoló España entre julio de 1936 y abril de 1939.
