Resumen del Libro

Los cuentos incluidos en este libro se caracterizan por los temas centrales que se mezclan de forma natural y coherente. Entre esos temas resaltan la trágica inocencia juvenil, sueños que no se cumplen y la desesperante dicotomía de identidad de una persona que ha sido arrancada de sus raíces. Cada una de estas situaciones es proporcionada por el estado psicosomático de su personaje. Por los acontecimientos de la vida, forjados por fuerzas externas, algunos de estos personajes son llevados a su autodestrucción y otros a vivir sus vidas bajo una perpetua contaminación mental. En el trasfondo de estos relatos hay características históricas y sociales que sirven como marco de referencia. Esos detalles, aunque no tienen mucha trascendencia en las obras, son claves en su desenvolvimiento ya que su esencia histórico-social es la causa que paulatinamente conduce a los personajes a su desintegración social y/o total.
